What did we do today?
- Left the Hotel El Velero at 4:30 am to drop the car off at Vamos in Liberia
- Our flight back to Vancouver via Calgary left on time at 7:20 am
We had checked in online the day before, but weren't able to get digital boarding passes. When we arrived at the Liberia airport we had to stand in line for about 20 minutes at the WestJet counter to get our boarding passes.
At the WestJet counter, we had to show our passports, and our negative COVID tests. One of our group, who had recently had COVID, showed her positive PCR test results from Canada.
After getting our boarding passes, going through immigration and security went much more quickly.
Post security the gift shops and restaurants were all open. Be prepared, it's expensive. A regular cup of coffee was $4 USD.
