What did we do today?
- Early morning COVID tests at Liberia Airport - fast and efficient results emailed in 30 minutes. All of us were negative 😅
- Afternoon boat trip from Playa Hermosa to Playa Nascalito and up the Rio del Ahogado
Accommodation: Hotel El Velero at Playa Hermosa
Meals: Hotel El Velero for breakfast and dinner and a picnic lunch at Playa Nascalito
We enjoyed being out on the water so much that we decided to do another boat trip. This time we headed north-west, past Monkey Island, the Four Seasons resort and on to Playa Nascalito where we stopped for swimming, snorkeling and a picnic lunch. Later we ventured up the mangrove-filled Rio del Ahogado were saw waterfowl and two crocodiles.
