What did we do today?
- Morning boat trip from Playa Hermosa: snorkelling and swimming at Playa Penca followed by a very lazy afternoon on the beach at Playa Hermosa.
Accommodation: Hotel El Velero at Playa Hermosa
Meals: Hotel El Velero for breakfast and dinner. It was barbecue night at the El Velero
It's not Hawaii, but we did see lots of fish while snorkeling in the rocks off Montosa island and I had a group of stingrays swim (well) underneath me. Unexpectedly, we also got close to three Humpback whales just off Playa Hermosa. We also stopped at Playa Penca for a swim where we saw a group of about twenty rays leaping out of the water. It was a great trip and I highly recommend a boat tour if you are in Playa Hermosa.
